The Mediterranean Women's Fund has participated in the financing of the Monique Wittig Year. The association Les Ami-es de Monique Wittig has launched the #Wittig2023 to encourage productions around the author and theorist Monique Wittig this year. 2023 is the 20th anniversary of Wittig's death, and the 50th anniversary of the publication of her book The Lesbian Body. In this context, Les Jaseuses will organize a series of seminars and reading and writing workshops around her work; a podcast of interviews with researchers, authors and writers; an exhibition around the vegetal motif in Wittig's work (call for proposals in December 2022).
