They sought support from the MedWF for the expenses of a project aiming to build a feminist climate movement in Egypt. This project was carried out in collaboration with a local women's rights NGO in Sohag, Development for Rural Women in Solfaq, and included two activities:
- Conducting a study on the impacts of climate change on women in Sohag, Upper Egypt.
- A one-day climate justice capacity-building workshop for feminist and women-led NGOs in Sohag, Egypt
