The project funded in 2021 by the Mediterranean Women’s Fund is part of a desire to promote the work ethic of "care" from a feminist and gender perspective. This project would help to promote self-confidence, empowerment and autonomy of migrant women who are part of the association Mujeres Pa'Lante.
At the same time, the association wishes to deepen the reasons that drive women to care for others from a feminist and gender perspective, crossing the notions of ethical care. This research aims to promote self-esteem and autonomy, both for the migrant women who participate in the association and for the people they help.
The crisis that we are living with the COVID-19 pandemic, has highlighted the importance of the care work done by migrant women and the need to recognize the value of these daily tasks, a reality that further emphasizes the need to care, support and value this work that migrant women do.
