"Regards de femmes" (Women’s perspectives) is an image education project in French high schools which aims to raise awareness on gender equality and the fight against discrimination. For this fourth edition, the students, under the guidance of their teacher, were asked to write a script or a scripted story on one of the three following themes: harassment, domestic violence or professional equality. Thanks to the educational tools made available by the association, the teachers were able to use games, short films and videos by YouTubers to tackle the issue of sexism and inequality between women and men in their classes.
Five projects were selected by a jury to be accompanied in their production by an audiovisual professional. The five winning classes also benefited from a workshop on raising awareness of equality and combating gender-based and sexual violence by a local feminist association, whose activities take place in the region from which the winning class comes.
