"Empowering women economically, socially and legally: a fundamental pillar of equality"
The association "Chama for the development and rehabilitation of Houara women" fights mainly against violence against women and underage marriage. Its objectives are the following:
To supervise women in order to empower them to benefit from the socio-economic rehabilitation program;
To combat all forms of violence and discrimination against women;
To carry out educational, cultural and social activities that would restore the respect of women;
To support the creation of projects that develop local capacities and skills of women to become involved in the development process of the region in particular, and Morocco in general.
In 2021, in the interest of sustainability and stability, the Mediterranean Women's Fund continues to support the 2020 project to train a group of women in the administrative management of associations and in communication with government officials and departments.
