The association "Brod" provides advice and assistance to women victims of discrimination, gender inequality and victims of domestic violence. It runs a shelter at a confidential address to house them and their children where they receive psychological support and also the support of counsellors to help them in their relations with institutions.
Operational support will be used for the shelter for women and children victims of violence by strengthening the counselling and assistance service (free legal aid and support for victims of discrimination and domestic violence throughout Croatia) and the telephone helpline by financing the salaries of the lawyer, the programme coordinator and the project coordinator.
