The ADFM has been fighting for more than 10 years for equal access to collective land ownership in Morocco.
These lands are subject to a particular land status, and can be defined as: "those that belong collectively to a group of inhabitants of the same origin and descendant of the same ethnicity". But the effective management of these lands is ensured within the community in question, which excludes women in two respects: the enjoyment of the right of usufruct, and the receipt of compensation in case of transfer of these lands.
Only the promulgation of a law in due form could change something to the current situation, and that is why the ADFM Rabat continues its advocacy.
