Arous Elbahar (The bride of the sea) started in 2007 in Jaffa is an organization dedicated to empowering the Arab women in Jaffa through promoting them in economic and social spheres, as well as increasing their involvement in the labor market and community.
Following the success of its project "Empowerment through financial education from young age" in 2015, Arous Elbahar would like to reach more teenagers, and extend its main program of assimilating financial education for young women. It will include subjects related to personal empowerment, gender related issues and their impact on their lives, feminist leadership, and instruction in financial tools. The uniqueness of this program is the benefits of assimilating financial education, and developing economic empowerment from a young age among weakened populations.
