ANIMA - Centre for Women's and Peace Education was founded in 1996 in Kotor. Its mission is to create a non-patriarchal society of free people by spreading a culture of peace and non-violence and promoting gender equality.
The objectives of the project "Strengthening the Mothers' Movement in Montenegro" are to present the publication "The voice of the sidewalk - struggle of mothers of children aged three and over deprived of rights" (2016-2018)" - in the cities of Bijelo Polje, Niksic and Podgorica, focusing on reproductive rights, to lead a 2-day seminar in the House of Free Thought in Kotor on the theme "Clericalization of society, gender equality, feminist activism" with speakers from the Women in Black network and to organize visits to war sites.
