They sought the MedWF’s support for their project focused on changing the status of women and girls in the regions already covered by the social caravans, to enable women and girls who have already been mobilized to become part of the process of continuing to mobilize, demand and assert their rights by concentrating on:
- Continuing the training and capacity-building program for young feminists. 
- Improving their capacity-building work with existing and newly-created associations and networks.
- Empowering women so that they can speak out and make decisions within their families and communities.
- Communications campaigns against violence against women and girls.
- Advocacy campaign in favor of changing the family code to ensure effective equality.
- Fight against child marriage and girls dropping out of school.
- And as an overall objective: to develop local, regional networks or coalitions by the end of the project: a major force for change integrating the women's movement against violence towards women for effective equality.

The Centre is located in one of the poorest and most difficult neighborhoods in Casablanca. The Ytto Foundation welcomes women victims of violence as well as homeless women, in a context of health crisis and increasing precariousness of women. 
The grant covered the most urgent operating costs.

The Derb Moulay Chrif Centre is located in one of the poorest and most difficult neighborhoods in Casablanca. The Ytto Foundation for Shelter and Rehabilitation of Women Victims of Violence, founded in 2004 in Casablanca, is dedicated to the defence of women's rights, particularly in remote areas. It organizes "caravans for the rights of women and girls" with the aim of raising awareness, providing information and helping to organize women in remote areas located in the High Atlas, Middle Atlas and the Moroccan Pre-Rif. 

The "Social Caravan for Equality in the Moroccan Rif" project will take place in the landlocked villages of northern Morocco in 2018, an area of strong conservatism and religious extremism, where women's rights are violated and women and girls are economically exploited. The 2017 caravan in the same region has proven to be a success, so the Ytto Foundation has decided to renew it in 2018. It will be carried out with the following objectives:

• Freeing the voices of women in landlocked and marginalized regions
• Involvement of women and girls in the process of legal and socio-economic change in their communities
• Eradication of underage marriages
• Eradication of forced marriages of girls from families residing abroad
• Ensuring genuine vocational education and training for girls.
• Involvement of young boys in the steps to be taken for equal rights between men/women, girls/boys. 
• Elimination of violence against women and girls 
• Ensure respect for the physical integrity and autonomy of women 
• Ensure full respect for women's economic rights and economic justice
• Expanding democratic space, ensuring inclusive governance and equal participation of women in the political arena

Following the different passages of the Ytto Foundation caravans in the High and Middle Atlas, several women's groups have been formed and are developing multiple activities to work for the emancipation of rural women. The MFFed allocation will fund a coordinator to facilitate the work of the associations.
 

The project, "Social Caravan for Equality", will take place in remote villages of northern Morocco, a strongly conservative region with high religious extremism, where women's rights are violated and women and girls are exploited economically. The caravan is aimed at women, girls and boys from these villages. It will be undertaken with the following objectives:
- freeing the speech of women in remote, marginalized regions
- involving women and girls in legal and socioeconomic change processes in their communities
- eradicating child marriage
- eradicating the practice of forcing into marriage girls from families living abroad
- ensuring genuine vocational education and training for girls
- involving young boys in efforts to establish equal rights between men/women, girls/boys 
- eliminating violence against women and girls  
- ensuring the respect of autonomy and physical integrity of women 
- ensuring complete respect for women’s economic rights and economic justice
- expanding the democratic space, ensuring inclusive governance and equal participation of women in politics.
