Women's Network of Croatia

They sought support from the MedWF for the operating expenses of the work of the network (organization of actions and public discussions, advocacy work, organization of meetings and exchanges of members, including the General Assembly, materials for public actions, legal support for activists and associated costs, cooperation with other networks and organizations, etc.).

The Institutional Support brought by the MedWF will enable the following activities:

1. Organization of the “Annual Assembly of WNC”, and quarterly meetings of members and coordinators, volunteers; consultation meetings with external experts, politicians, artists, journalists, participation at network meetings (Women in Black, EWL, WAVE, Platform for Reproductive Rights, etc.), press conferences. 

2. Organization of street actions and protests, round tables, video clips, banners, participation in radio and TV programs, interviews for online and published media.  

3. Advocacy, monitoring and participation in the process for creation and implementation of gender equality and women’s rights in public politics and legal framework (new Law on abortion and other current proposals for new laws), public statements.

The Institutional Support brought by the MedWF will enable WNC to reinforce the network's coordination in order to develop better advocacy activities at the national and international level, to bring legal support for activists, to rebuild the web site and to print materials for public action.
