They sought support from the MedWF for the IRIDA Protection Programme. 40% of refugees arriving in Greece are women, who generally do not have sufficient networks to protect them in their communities and who have to deal with multiple crises: the trauma of displacement, threats and discrimination based on their gender, etc. The aim of this project was to offer support based on women's needs, to help women deal with their traumas, to provide access to healthcare and psycho-social support; in short, to meet the needs of vulnerable women.
