Nasijona’s goal is to preserve, develop, produce and market local heritage and traditional handcrafts, while empowering women financially, socially, and educationally. The "Working Hands" project for women is aimed at all Arab women in general and housewives, elderly women and disabled women in particular. It included several courses run by specialists in Palestinian crafts, such as Palestinian embroidery, needle and thread, Makkuk, knitting, straw weaving, etc. The main objective is to improve the status of Arab women in the State of Israel by helping them in terms of productivity, social and financial support.
