L'association The Maison des Femmes of Paris, founded in 1981, runs a space for solidarity and women's rights in Paris. It is active in many fields: information and guidance for women, actions in favour of employment and professional integration of women, initiatives against the violence they may be confronted with, cultural, social and convivial activities, legal permanence... It is also an inter-associative space for about ten feminist associations. Over time, it has built partnerships with institutions and associations committed to women's rights and solidarity throughout the Ile de France region.

The Maison des Femmes de Paris is a non-mixed, areligious feminist association that fights and acts against male violence against women and against all forms of discrimination and sexism. It is an activist space, a place of welcome for women and associations. The organization leads actions for the autonomy and the socio-professional insertion of women. It offers support to foreign, immigrant and refugee women, including legal advice. A service in sign language is also offered to deaf women.

	"Develop and strengthen our action against violence against women" The FFMed grant for the “Maison des Femmes” made it possible to strengthen and better organize the action of the association as well as the work of the interveners.
