Between the legislation on access to contraception and abortion and the reality on the ground, there is something that does not fit: this is the observation of a group of young Tunisian women from different associations who will meet in 2015 during a Feminist Training on Collective Intelligence, organized by the Fund for Women in the Mediterranean. Contraceptive pills are constantly out of stock, condoms are too expensive since they are classified as a luxury product by the new 2019 finance law, anonymity is not respected and the presence of the spouse is required for an abortion... The de facto restrictions on women's reproductive rights are numerous.
