L'association Le centre pour femmes Irida est une organisation civique à but non lucratif basée à Thessalonique, en Grèce du Nord. Il fonctionne depuis janvier 2018, offrant un espace sûr avec des activités de renforcement de la communauté, et formant une communauté ouverte, multiculturelle et résiliente. Pour soutenir leur communauté, leur aide est basée sur quatre principes déterminants : 1) Protection et sécurité, 2) Autonomisation et soutien psychologique et ciblé, 3) Promotion de la politique et de la procédure d'intégration, 4) Co-inclusion.

Chez Irida, les femmes peuvent accéder à : 1) à des services de protection, 2) à une aide juridique, 3) à des activités d'apprentissage et de développement des compétences, à une communauté forte et inclusive, et à un espace sécurisé pour les enfants. Grâce à ces services, les membres sont en mesure de s'exprimer librement, de socialiser, d'établir des liens sociaux et de créer des amitiés et des réseaux personnels qui leur servent généralement de filet de sécurité. En outre, ils se sentent en sécurité, habilités et soutenus pour participer aux programmes du centre, redonner à la communauté, devenir des agents du changement dans leur vie, leur famille et leur communauté en général, et devenir des citoyen.ne.s actifs au sein de la communauté locale élargie.
