L'association Genderhood Association, created in 2017, aims to raise the level of awareness of children and adults on gender issues, to contribute to an expression free from gender stereotypes and to change children's mentalities on this subject.

Genderhood designs educational programs, socio-cultural activities and creative workshops for all children and adults. Its activities take the form of learning-by-doing workshops. Using interactive activities, expression techniques, art and role-playing, Genderhood aims to raise awareness about gender issues, to raise awareness against internalized prejudices, and to contribute to free expression without gender discrimination.

	Operating costs They sought support from the MedWF for their operating costs.
2021
	Raising the awareness of children and adults on gender issues Genderhood cannot count on financial support from the government and must therefore cover its operating costs through other means. By requesting support from the Mediterranean Women's Fund, the association will be able to cover some of its current expenses.
2020
	Urgent COVID-19 Emergency support to the association Genderhood: operating costs. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Genderhood was obliged to put its public activities on hold while still having to cover its operating costs in order to continue to working in the future.

The Genderhood project is an educational program on gender equality, power roles, human rights and the prevention of gender-based violence. Based on the principle of education through experience, the activities take the form of workshops where one learns by doing. The programme, aimed at students, parents, teachers, will be presented throughout Greece in schools, nurseries, creative centres, cultural venues, festivals and social centres. +plus
