They asked for the MedWF’s support for a project which aims to strengthen the fight against violence against women through a major awareness-raising and training campaign in the rural Guercif region of Morocco. The planned activities were as follows: organization of awareness-raising and training sessions for women in the ten rural communes of the Guercif province, carrying out a survey on the subject of violence against women, organization of debate and exchange meetings between the various players involved in the fight against gender-based violence (association/local authorities), organization of a seminar on the fight against gender-based violence, targeting +/- 200 direct and 500 indirect beneficiaries.
