The MedWF provided funding for the general functioning of the association, to help them cope with COVID-19. Thanks to this funding, the association was able to carry out several popular education actions such as the broadcasting of a theatre-forum "Silences complices?" (Complicit Silence) on gender-based and sexual violence in the workplace, as well as writing and reading aloud to promote gender equality.

In order to act concretely on the ground as artists, to be in constant dialogue with society and serve as a vector of emancipation, the diffusion of a theatre-forum, “Complicit Silence?”, on sexual and gender-based violence in labour relations, and numerous public education workshops using the theatre or a practice of writing and reading aloud (essentially based on the philosophy of the Theatre of the Oppressed), are some of the means used to promote gender equality and question the patriarchal system.

This participatory project leads the association to work with hundreds of young people in high school and university (16-25 years), public school teachers, and women from a variety of backgrounds. The work is in direct relation with their everyday life under a patriarchal system (women who are victims of sexist or sexual violence, women at risk of prostitution or coming out of prostitution, but also young activists/professionals interested in learning to transmit our tools ...). The association needs support for its day-to-day operations to be able to continue its projects in progress. |
