They sought support from the MedWF for the project "M.A.R.I.K.A - Speak. Listen. Ask. Narrate. Understand. Change". The "M.A.R.I.K.A" project started in September 2022 as an educational program for teenagers in seven Greek cities. Their starting point was the life story of Marika - a woman who lived in a small village near Thessaloniki (1925-2007) - and all the social issues that this story reveals (violence against women in particular). They created an educational program based on this story and using the performing arts as the main educational tool. After the implementation of this educational program, each group conducted interviews and drew stories from real women throughout Greece. The outcome of this project was a play or video from each group, using the aesthetic of documentary theater.
