Action for women

They sought the MedWF's support for the "Pomegranate" project, which is run with, for and by women. They have designed a holistic empowerment model to strengthen women's individual and collective capacities. The project included an economic empowerment component (Greek classes, computer courses and professional advice to help women who are far from employment find work), a remuneration component (design and sale of products created by the women), a protection component (secure accommodation in conjunction with the Diotima association) and the strengthening of solidarity networks between women. They also needed help with operating costs.

The Mediterranean Women's Fund's support is funding the "Granada" project, which is run with, for and by women. They have designed a holistic empowerment model to strengthen women's individual and collective capacities.
